He is an entrepreneur, CEO and President of The Carr Group, a highly sought after keynote and workshop speaker, and is an adventurer, world class mountain climber and outdoor adventure guide.

Mark has attempted Everest and climbed McKinley, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro and many others. He weaves his “story” of work and life accomplishments as a business leader and mountaineer, and the challenges, setbacks, and lessons into his coaching, training, speaking and consulting.

He is based in Phoenix but works with a worldwide customer base. Mark is a recognized expert in all aspects of human capital management including executive and career coaching, employee engagement, strategic workforce planning, succession planning, leadership assessment, mergers and acquisitions.

They benefit from over 20 years experience running HR organizations for large multi-national companies including T-Systems (a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary), ON Semiconductor, Motorola and Drake Beam Morin, which includes managing HR functions in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Some of Mark’s career highlights include:

  • As Vice President of HR for T-Systems and ON Semiconductor, led all aspects of the HR function including compensation & benefits, employee relations, organizational development, HRIS, HR operations, payroll and security.
  • As Vice President of HR for ON Semiconductor oversaw human resource coverage for the global Operations and Technology organization supporting 10,000 employees. This included internal/external manufacturing, new product development, quality assurance, operations support, IT and global supply chain across factory sites in the US, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, and China.
  • Successfully led On Semiconductor acquisitions and integrations of Sanyo Semiconductor, AMI Semiconductor and Cherry Semiconductor from the HR standpoint.
